Lyon Sweater - Child Petite Knit

Lyon Sweater - Child Petite Knit

The Lyon Sweater Junior is worked from the top down and features bold, playful stripes from the middle of the yoke downward. The construction begins with the upper back yoke, shaped with increases, followed by shoulders worked from stitches picked up along the slanted edges. The remainder of the yoke is then worked on the circular needle, first flat and then in the round.

The body is worked in the round, while the sleeves are knitted down from the armholes using double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop technique. The sweater is finished with a folded neck edge worked using built-in double knitting for a neat, comfortable finish.

This design combines thoughtful shaping with a relaxed, oversized fit—perfect for kids who like room to move.

Size Guide

The Lyon Sweater Junior is designed to have approximately 18 cm of positive ease, meaning it is intended to be worn roomy and relaxed.

If the wearer’s chest measurement falls between sizes, choose the size based on chest circumference rather than age. Lengths can easily be adjusted to suit taller or shorter children.
