Sunday Cardigan Mohair Edition - Petite Knit

Sunday Cardigan Mohair Edition - Petite Knit

The Sunday Cardigan – Mohair Edition is a soft, cloudlike cardigan worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is shaped in rib with integrated increases that form a gentle round silhouette. The body is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch and finished with a classic ribbed band. The sleeves are worked in the round, long and slightly puffed for that signature PetiteKnit look.

This pattern uses multiple strands of mohair held together to create a lofty, gentle halo and an incredibly lightweight but warm fabric.

Yarn Type Needed

This cardigan is knitted with three strands of laceweight mohair held together throughout.

Choose:

  • Laceweight mohair or mohair-blend yarn

  • Held triple

  • With a soft halo and good loft

  • Meeting the final gauge of 14 sts × 18 rows = 10 cm on 7 mm needles

Holding three strands creates that fluffy, airy fabric PetiteKnit cardigans are known for.
