Albizia Gloves
Stay cosy through the colder months with these Albizia-inspired fingerless gloves. The top of each glove features a smooth, gently laced stitch pattern inspired by the delicate foliage of the Albizia tree, while the underside is worked in plain stocking stitch for comfort and ease of wear.
Designed to keep your wrists and knuckles warm without restricting movement, these gloves are practical enough for everyday wear and slim enough to layer under ski gloves for extra insulation.
The pattern includes three adult sizes and is also available in a mini version for children. The gloves are worked in the round from the wrist upwards, with the thumb gusset picked up and knit at the end. This pattern is best suited to intermediate knitters and above, offering an engaging and satisfying project.
Fit & Yarn Details
I recommend using 100% wool or a wool/nylon blend in a solid colour to allow the lace detail to shine. Yarn weight varies by size. Sizes are written as A (B, C) throughout.

Measure around your palm and knuckles, excluding the thumb:
17–21 (18–22, 19–23) cm
6.75–8 (7–8.75, 7.5–9) inches
